We often only remember deceased personalities when they have supposedly achieved or created great deeds or works.
However, we are guided by the view that every person has or had a place in the development of our world. That is why we want to give the bereaved the opportunity to remember their deceased in an appropriate manner.
By attaching a QR code to the grave, you can provide more information than is possible on a gravestone. It was important to us to make the aluminium badge discreet, but still visible.
We provide access to an ad-free Internet platform in which content provided by the bereaved is entered.
Our interactive input template
is designed so simply that a professional memorial page can be created without any further internet knowledge.
Texts, pictures, videos, music or other links related to the deceased person can be uploaded there.
For this purpose, we create a QR code that is attached to the aluminium badge supplied by us.
This content is read out using a suitable readout device
(e.g. smartphone, tablet or similar).
Questions about the memorial page
Yes, you can try out all the functions of the memorial page free of charge before you order. You can make and save entries under the menu item Create reminder page. You will then receive an e-mail from us with a memorio ID and a QR code that you can use to read your entries with a smartphone.
Over the next 2 weeks, you can make changes to your entries and check how your entries look. This service is completely free of charge for you and you do not enter into any obligations. If you do not order after 2 weeks, the data you have saved up to that point will be deleted.
The duration of the readability of the memorial page by the QR code is not limited in time. We will not delete the customer's entries. This means that they will remain readable for an indefinite period of time within the scope of physical and technical possibilities at no further cost to the buyer.
After conclusion of the purchase contract, all entries can be changed, deleted or supplemented by the buyer in the following 2 years. At the end of these 2 years, this period can be renewed for a further 2 years in accordance with our then valid price list (currently € 39,00).
It is possible to enter individual data for up to four deceased persons via the input template.
It is also possible to add further names of deceased persons to the memorial page at a later date.
In principle, this can be done at any time within the first 2 years after purchase.
Later, this period can be extended by a further 2 years in accordance with our then valid price list (currently € 39,00).
In the case of a grave with more than four deceased, please contact us so that we can discuss suitable solutions.
No, we do not limit the storage space for integrating data into the memorial page.
For image files, we charge a one-off fee of currently € 5.00 for each additional 500 MB. When uploading the files in the input template, you will see how much storage space you are currently using, so that you will be alerted as soon as 500 MB are reached.
Links from video or audio files to YouTube and other platforms are possible.
If you want to link private videos or private audio files, you can first save them on YouTube or hosting platforms such as
GoogleDrive, OneDrive, Dropbox or similar and then insert the corresponding
link in the memorial page. If you need technical support, we will be happy to help you.
With the book of condolences, you enable all family members and friends who read the QR code to make personal entries and offer their condolences. If you do not want individual entries to be visible in the book of condolences, you can hide them.
The book of condolences is not published by default and must be activated by you. You can also close and reopen the book of condolences at any time.
After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation, which also contains the login details for your Internet storage space. The login password should be changed by you the first time you log in. It must consist of at least 8 characters containing letters and numbers. This is the only way you can make or change entries on your memorial page.
Yes, when filling in the input template, you can assign a password for the memorial page, which blocks the readability of the content for the categories you have selected or the entire memorial page. This must have at least 4 characters.
By passing on the password, you can determine the group of people who can read this blocked content.
Yes, your website is permanently ad-free.
We will not integrate advertising partners into your memorial page at any time.
This should be reserved exclusively for the memory of the deceased.
No self-promotion is carried out on the aluminium badge supplied by us either!
Due to legal regulations, however, it is necessary for us to discreetly refer to our legal notice as well as the terms and conditions and privacy policy within your memorial page.

Questions about the badge
The badge is made of high-quality anodised aluminium and is therefore weatherproof all year round.
The QR code is permanently engraved on this badge using laser engraving.
Attaching the aluminium badge
We generally recommend having the aluminium badge affixed to the grave by the stonemason you have commissioned anyway.
We would like to point out that, in the opinion of the experts working with us, affixing the QR code outdoors with
double-sided adhesive tape or pads, even if they are special adhesive tapes for industrial production, cannot be used to create a permanent, frost-proof connection!

Yes, different dimensions for the aluminium badge are possible. We offer a 40 x 44 mm or a 100 x 100 mm badge as standard. We will be happy to make you an offer on request.
Questions about ordering
By placing an order or saving entries in the interactive input template, a memorio ID and the corresponding QR code are generated and sent to you by e-mail. This allows you to access and change your entries at any time. You will receive the QR code as an image file (.png).
After completing the order, your entries are stored under this memorio ID at least for the next 10 years. After that, we will not delete it, but the QR code will remain readable within the scope of technical and physical possibilities at no additional cost to the purchaser.
We know from our own experience that many decisions have to be made immediately after the death of a person, so it is sufficient to enter the name of the deceased person or the name of the common grave at the time of ordering.
You can then enter all other information at your leisure over the next 2 years after ordering.
Of course, you can also attach a QR code to the grave if the date of death was some time ago.
If you make the entries for yourself as part of your death provision, you should ensure that your heirs or surviving dependants are aware of this memorial page. It is advisable to keep this information together with the access data in the same way as you leave your bank details, for example. You can also decide whether and how the QR code should be attached to your grave.
There are no shipping costs within Germany. We charge an additional € 10.00 to other EU countries.
After ordering, we will send your badge within 3 working days as an insured parcel via DHL.
